"Va piano" in Italian means to "proceed calmly". At Lago di Merlo we have blended the best of the northern part with the best from the South to create "Pi-ano". The Pinot Grigio contributed to the earthy steeliness of the wine while the Fiano gives it the lush stone fruit character that is so supple.
