Since its dbut in the 2001 vintage our celebrated flagship wine Roads End has garnered accolades and developed a dedicated following in Oregon and beyond. The distinct layering of flavors in Roads End is due to both the variable climate and the combination of volcanic and sedimentary soils found in the vineyards that contribute the grapes for this wine. From 2001 through 2009 me made Roads End as a triple-vineyard Pinot Noir, sourcing fruit from the finest three vineyards we could find in the Willamette Valley for a given vintage. Beginning in 2005, one of those vineyards was our own Carlton Cellars Estate Vineyard. Now, beginning with the 2010 vintage, we are very proud that our Estate Vineyard has matured to produce abundant first-class fruit enabling us to make it the sole source for Roads End. Now a single-vineyard Estate Pinot Noir, Roads End is sourced from the Twelve Best Barrels from our Carlton Cellars Estate Vineyard on Savannah Ridge in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA.
