Product Description

Napa Valley's late winter and early spring were unusually warm and dry. The growing season was uneventful and temperatures were cooler than in recent vintages. The grape clusters bloomed late May and verasion happened mid August. There were not too many heat spikes above 90 degrees in July and August. The ideal growing conditions continued through September but in October a pair of strong storms dumped over 4 inches of rain. We picked our fruit out before the rains and are very happy with the outcome. Harvest took place on October 5, 2009.
